Since 1990, Nishat has been Pakistan's most trusted name in fabric. One family, three generations, one of the largest textile operations in the country: spinning, weaving, dyeing, finishing, stitching, all under one roof. The fabric we make ends up under the labels of the world's top luxury brands. And much of the fabric in Pakistan's top fashion brands you already wear? That's ours too.

My grandfather, Mr. Saleem, started the looms. My father scaled them into something world-class. I asked the question neither of them had asked: why does the best fabric we make always carry someone else's name?

The Linen Company was born from that question. We kept the best fabric for ourselves and built a brand around a conviction that hasn't changed in three decades: what touches your skin every day should be the most considered thing you own.

Then the next question: if our family cares this much about what you sleep in, shouldn't we care just as much about what you wear? We were already making the fabric for other fashion brands. It was time to design the clothes ourselves, with the western-inspired prints and clean aesthetic we'd built our home reputation on, shaped into silhouettes made for real life.
